CLTwitter & CLTwestival

In February, the Charlotte Twitter community came together in two weeks to raise money for Charity:Water. The event was a success here in Charlotte and around the world. We raised over $2k in Charlotte alone!

On (tentatively) September 12th we will come together once again to support a local charity. This is our chance, as a community, to raise funds for a charity in the Charlotte area in a meaningful (and fun!) way.

How can you help?

If you’re wondering how you can help out, there are plenty of ways you can support the effort:

  • Volunteer to plan - Come to the first planning meeting on Thursday, August 20th at Cafe Monty @ 7p (Contact @SummerPlum for details or just show up!)
  • Volunteer to help day of - We’ll need volunteers to help the day of & setup. (Contact name TBA)
  • Sponsor - Sponsorship information will be available soon. This is a great way to support the cause.
  • Buy Tickets & Attend - Come on out and help CLTwitter raise funds for CLTwestival

Which Charlotte charity are we supporting?

We don’t know yet! We’ll be accepting your nominations soon for charities to consider. Details will be available on the blog as soon as the voting site is up.
